VOLUNTEERING

Our small team couldn’t do the work it does without the extraordinary help provided by our volunteers. They assist with everything from client support to working in the café, packing food parcels, looking after our clothing stores and gardening. If you have any spare time and would like to volunteer please keep an eye on this page or our facebook page for opportunities. These are exciting times in the development of the charity and we are now looking to strengthen our senior management team with the following appointments:

Finance Officer

Hours:                        16 Hours per week

Location:                   The Rainbow Centre, Parish House

Salary:                       £14 per hour

Main purpose of job:

To take a lead in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function and support the CEO in maintaining and developing the service using the appropriate accounting software and associated applications. To assist the CEO in ensuring the charity remains compliant with all statutory financial regulations that apply to it and help co-ordinate the preparation of data to meet key reporting requirements. Help drive forward the modernisation of the financial management systems.

DIRECTOR / CEO

Part-time, 20 hours/week

(Salary pro rata based on a full-time equivalent of £31,109 p.a.)

The successful candidate will lead the management team of this church-based charity and be responsible for the management of other senior staff, business planning, policy development, budgetary control, bid writing, grant funding, the implementation of funded projects, fundraising campaigns & events, communications and networking with other agencies.
