What an incredible evening we had at our very first Rainbow Centre Charity Ball! Despite the rain, spirits were high as guests arrived in style on the red carpet at The Scarborough Spa, welcomed by the uplifting sounds of The Funky Choir and a sparkling drinks reception.
The Ocean Room was transformed into a stunning setting for over 200 guests who came together in support of our vital work. The atmosphere was electric!
Our dear friend Paddy Billington from This is The Coast did a phenomenal job as our compere, keeping the evening flowing beautifully and hosting our auction with great energy. We were overwhelmed by the generosity shown by local businesses and individuals — thank you!
Following a delicious three-course meal, our CEO Jo Laking delivered a powerful and heartfelt speech, reminding us all of the importance of community and how the Rainbow Centre continues to be a lifeline for many. Her words were met with rapt attention and warm applause.
The night reached its crescendo with an unforgettable performance from the Huge Party Band, who had everyone on their feet dancing and singing the night away.
And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, we revealed the date for next year’s ball!
