Our friends at Pets At Home Scarborough made a hugely generous donation to the centre this Christmas, allowing us to provide special presents for our clients’ pets.
Lyndsey, our food bank and stores officer, took on the task of putting together parcels for around 30 much-loved companions, including dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, fish and even a Komodo dragon.
The donation also enabled us to top up our Pet Food Bank, ensuring our clients’ furry (and scaly) friends will be well fed for the next few months.
For many of our clients, their pets are their only constant company, so it meant the world to be able to give them something special at Christmas.
