Hannah Clarke, Employment Adviser in Scarborough, is taking on an incredible ultra-marathon challenge in October 2026 for The Rainbow Centre, aiming to inspire others while making a positive impact in her local community.

An ultra-marathon is any race longer than the traditional marathon distance of 26.2 miles (42.2 km). The ultra-Marathon trail Hannah is running is a total of 34.3 Miles (55.4km). Taking on such an event requires immense physical and mental strength, months of dedicated training, and an unwavering commitment to achieving a goal.

For Hannah, this challenge is about much more than running. It is a personal journey of self-belief, discipline, and proving that with determination and focus, anything is possible.

Hannah Says “You can achieve great things in life if you put your mind to it.”

This message is something Hannah hopes will resonate with everyone, including the participants she supports through her role. By pushing herself beyond her comfort zone, she wants to demonstrate that ambitious goals can be achieved through consistent work, perseverance, and resilience.

Thank you so much Hannah for thinking of us, and raising money for The Rainbow Centre. Good luck
