Last year we aimed to raise £10,000 to support individuals and families in Scarborough who are struggling during what should be a joyful and magical season.

We are incredibly pleased to say that we reached this amount thanks to the generosity of our local community.

For almost 28 years, The Rainbow Centre has provided vital support for vulnerable people in our community—helping the homeless, those in crisis, and families facing difficult circumstances. Our services include a foodbank, café, hot showers, laundry facilities, clothing, bedding, toiletries, start-up packs for new homes, and debt-advice support.

On average, we provide food for around 1,000 people every month, and in 2025 alone we carried out nearly 33,000 critical interventions. With the rising cost of living and increased fuel costs affecting even more working families, demand for our services continues to grow sharply.

So a HUGE thank you to everyone who has contributed to this appeal.
